err...guys..? (Just Cause 1)

So I saw the video of Just Cause 2... and wanted to play the first one. Got it cheap on ebay :)The problem is... it only lets me resolution up to 1280x1024...I tried this LINKbut it didn't work.Anyway to get it running at 1680x1050 ?

Check out the eidos just cause board they might have a solution. What kind of video card you have?err...guys..? (Just Cause 1)

Specs are all fine:

Q6600

8800 GTX

4GB RAM 800Mhz

Latest Drivers

WinXP Pro



Game works fine...but at 1280 on my 22'', it looks kinda ugly...
Play on a lower resolution then. Some games don't play well on higher resolution. damn game programers r to blame.

I'm positive it will work fine on higher resoultions...it just doesnt let me...
Yeah it was ported from PS2, so its not gona upscale the resolution any higher.
I checked the eidos tech forum for just cause and it says if u go to your nvidia setting and choose juse cause from the list of games then that should solve your problems

although it's still not at the native resolution, with that Nvidia Setting and the patch mentioned, it now looks heaps better.



I also turned up the AA and AF to give it more effect....and it looks pretty enough to play (it's easy as hell so far...lol)

Well...I saw the trailer for JC2 and loved it....but I had never played part 1....

Thanks for the help[/QUOTE]Ok just in case you should copy the files that are in the folder into the game directory and not the whole folder.Just the files (they're three i think) and then you change the res in the resolution.ini.Enjoy!
