Hello, all pc gamers. My computer spec is like this. 1.8ghz core 2 duo, 2gb memory, geforce8600gt. I have around $150 to spend, and want to know what kind of hardware would improve my computer the most. Would buying a video card better than a better processor? If yes, what kind of video card should i buy? Thank you.how to improve my rig with budget
DEFINITELY GPU!! For 110$ you can get 40nm hd4770 and when you have more money available crossfire it(if motherboard supports). 8600 gt is not that bad. If you are a casual gamer you can save it until 40nm is common amongst gpus. Also 2 gig ram may not be sufficient for big maps.(32 bit supports up to 3.25 gigs of ram btw)
