But if you want to try them with a friend its alot harder (until the new matchmaking comes out). So if you really want to play them just try them yourself or get your friends to download them to.Just have to download the maps and place them into your Steam/Left4Dead folders, then in the MAPS folder. There is some instructions on that website to about doing it (You have to open up the console and type in the name of the map,etc... once you are inside Left4Dead).Most of the campaigns are not finished, but still fun to play. My favorite is oen i cant remember the name of and Resident Evil3.Ive also done some beta testing for a few other campaigns that are not on the website.l4dmapdb.com Reliability?!?

To open your console, make sure it's allowed in your keyboard options, then press ~ while in game.
Installing =
Most .zip files on this site are meant to be installed to your left4dead folder, which is usually C:Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead/left4dead. Everything should automatically go where it's supposed to. This won't work for every map because not all mappers package their zip files the same way. The guaranteed way of installing a map correctly is to take the .bsp and .nav files and copy them into your maps folder. Here is an example of how i used the Resident Evil3 campaign.... After i copied and pasted the map files into where they have to, i started up left4dead and then started up a normal campaign map and then i did the following in the console = 1. press the ~ button to start up the console and then type this ''changelevel re3streetsa''That will then load the map/campaign you want to play! (in this case it will load the resident evil3 one)

Wow. Thank you man.
Wow. Thank you man.
No problem bud, i just copied the first bit of that from the site. The last part i wrote up though, about loading the resident evil3 campaign. Its not as hard as it looks to get a user made campaign running hehe :PJust all this writting probably makes it look confusing :P
