Back to Vista /Typing the Dead

Hi there,



Typing the Dead runs on my Vista machine, but when it stopped suddenly I couldn't get back to Vista. I tried Escape, Alt+F4 (this is the old way, isn't it) and then Controll/Alt/Delete but that one didn't invite me to stop the programm. I had to run down the machine and start again. I'm coming directly from Win98.

How do I stop programms like TTD that get stuck and return to Windows?
