Where is Episode 3?

I have been looking for information on Half Life 2 Episode 3 for a few days now but have found nothing. What's the deal? It has been a year and a half since Valve released the last game, and condidering these episodes are ~4 hours long and using a pre-existing engine, there is no excuse not to have something substantial by now. Even more concerning is the fact that they have no problem releasing a new Left 4 Dead so shortly after the last one came out.I'm pissed! Where's my Episode 3? :(/endrantWhere is Episode 3?

Half-Life 2 was released in 2004. It is now 2009. At this rate, it will take 7 years to finish the episodes...

Eh, 5 years and basically got ''2/3'' of the game, better then not having them and waiting 2 more for the full thing? heh (Some might say they would rather have waited for the whole thing but, idk, I could picture a LOT of QQ'ing if none of the episodes had come out since HL2 and we were left in the dark)
