question about CoD4 online multiplayer.

I have a question on CoD4's online multiplayer, could you tell about how many people are online playing? Because I was a little disappointed with the number of people playing CoD2 when it came out.question about CoD4 online multiplayer.
It's the #2 game played of all Xfire users, some 18,000.question about CoD4 online multiplayer.
It's the #2 game played of all Xfire users, some 18,000.
Definately more than that, not everyone uses Xfire
I think there is more people playing COD4 online than people who actually bought Crysis let alone play Crysis online lol. There must be atleast 18,000 to 20,000 people playing the game at anyone time because i always see thousands of servers with 30-60 player capacity full. Nothing beats playing on a full 60 player server in COD4 :D

So you dont find yourself turning a corner to be picked off by some little git who has been crouched in the same spot for 10 minutes. Not to mention more players means more targets which means more kills and more XP so you level and unlock upgrades, perks and challenges quicker. And i found i've completed more challenges in a single match on a full 60 player server than on any lower capacity ones because there is so many more chances and opportunities to complete certain challenges.I don't know how console gamers can play on servers with 12 or 16 player capacity max lol i'd freak out if that was me!
COD4 multiplayer is awesome and that's way there's a lot of people playing it.
It's the #2 game played of all Xfire users, some 18,000.
he's right, after every day cod4 has about like 10 million minutes, I just got cod4 yesterday and I LOVE THIS GAME !!!! OMG !!
hey guyzz how do u ply COD4 online??
hey guyzz how do u ply COD4 online??
You start the mp exe (iw3mp.exe), find a server with low ping and join? + you have to have an original copy ;). Anyway there are from 38K(not likely- I only saw twice so few players online) to 64K players online all the time. Together with CS:S they are the 2nd/3rd most played games, sometimes CS:S has more, sometimes, CoD 4 and that's only MP imagine with the players that play sp :).

You don't know what your taling about.Playing on 60 player servers are complete crap. The maps are way to small and just leads to just mindless shooting.16-24 player servers are fine.

The whole game is full of mindless pray and spray with a lot of 'nade spamming. It is a great game for casual players, as almost anybody can pick up this game and get a decent kdr.

Not the PC version. On 16-24 player servers you need to be aware and aim well. on 60 player servers your just spraying bullets without even aiming. Its not fun.

Erm, yeah you do just need to aim it and spray. Like all CoD games. Not going to troll but the Recoil sucks on CoD.

CoD is and will always be CoD, if you don't like it, well that's a shame, but one thing is certain, it will never change, it's the way its fans like it, it's not suppose to be realistic or a simulator, it;s supposed to be fun, there are lots of alternatives for it when it comes to realism, but not when it comes to pure fun (mp) and cinematic experience (sp).

I believe you can play the Mac version with the PC version. I'm not 100% sure though. Google it. And please post the same thing over and over again.

Unfortunately, it is not how the fans like it, it is how the publisher likes it. They only care about fans because fans give them money. You (as a fan) try pitching an idea. See how much they care about anything other than your money. If they think making a poor excuse for a sequel will get them money, they will do it. And they did (World at War anyone?).

Being aware and aiming well only gets you so far in CoD4. In the end, the pub leaders are the people either camping with an MG or running around with their cooked 'nades and SMG attacking everyone from behind.

There's no ''unfortunately'' in my case, because no matter what you say about IW/Activision, CoD 4 or any other CoD is, fortunately, exactly how I like em (I don't care about what IW likes as long as i like it too, i don't like a game because the developer or publisher likes it) and how they were right from the beginning. Some might not like it because it;s the same game every 1 or 2 tears, but I like it for that exact reason, because it feels the same but at the same time it offers a new and different experience. Believe me, if I don't like something, I don't buy it, take WaW for example, total crap, Treyarch shouldn't be allowed to make CoD games for PC and i will never support them no matter how many CoD games they make.

Now I happily await the new ''excuse for an awesome sequel'' that MW 2 is, made by the very best, IW :), I care extremely much for it (especially the sp campaign this time) and they care for money, it works out just great :).
