This confuses me, you asked for the greatest MMO in your thread title then ask for the greatest PC game in the actual thread? Anyways, Best MMOs are WoW and LOTRO IMO of course, I hear good things about GW, WAR, and AOC (Which I've played and enjoyed) SW:TOR coming out sometime which sounds great.
tabula rasa when it was out. Then a pay 2 play game that is out now is city of heroes/villians and free 2 play is Runes of magic.

I believe Age of Conan has to be the best MMO currently. WoW just gets old and tiering to think about and play. AoC FTW!
whichever one floats your boatseriously - they are all so different that ''the best'' is just a pointless statement. I mean WoW has sold the most but then 'N Sync sold the most albums albums on 200 and that doesn't make either of them ''The Best'' (but, to be clear, WoW has never made me want to sandpaper my ears off)
