Is Crysis warhead better than the original Crysis when it comes to performance?

Thats what I heard, is it true? I also heard that is better optimized so it gives more fps than the original one.Is Crysis warhead better than the original Crysis when it comes to performance?
For me personally i got a SLIGHT performance increase with Warhead. But not a hell of alot. Some of my friends though noticed a huge differnce, while a few others said it was identical.Overall i would say taht you can expect slight increase in FPS/Perforamance with Warhead.Is Crysis warhead better than the original Crysis when it comes to performance?

Please tell me you are joking. He brought up the graphics, to make his point saying that the graphics are either worst or better, and that the FPS gain is not due to better optimization but rather a decrease in graphics.
For some reason I got better performance on Crysis. The cutscenes on warhead dragged my framerate down and some of the gameplay. Don't remember as many probs on Crysis

I did indeed notice a slight performance increase over The Original, It was definitely better optimized. I can't wait for Crysis 2 which I'm hoping will have even better optimizations and take crysis to a whole new level.

Doesn't mean it will automatically suck...but it can bring some standards down already.
Better performance in Crysis and the difference isn't small.

Warhead performance is slighty better than in Crysis, but mainly because the drawing distance is smaller -the reason behind the more visible pop up-. Yo can manually adjust the drawing distance throught the console command or a .cfg text, at cost of performance. Some shaders are better in Crysis -ice levels, mainly-, but particles effects are a bit better in Warhead. So at the end, the performance and visuals are both very similar and dependat about the custom configurations you chose to run. I wouldn't say exactly that ''Warhead has better performance'' because it comes at cost of a more evident poping -you can obtain the same silghty increased performance in Crysis reducing the drawing distance-, but isnce Warhead was launched a year after, the hardware were more powerfull and cheaper. My opinion is that Crysis and Warhead are a very optimized games taking into consideration what they display.
I have an overall/low end card and first crysis looked and performed much more better than warhead. Maybe they optimised it for 8800s and better.
They run and look very similar on my rig.Cutscenes look worse than gameplay in both games :/
