Sucks to be you then, because the game is a masterpiece and will soon be in the PC Hall OF Fame.
Don't get me wrong. From what I've played the Game is AWESOME! I just have a problem that's really annoying.
The game is buggy for some people, and for others it's completely clean. Some people can't install it - others are crashing to the desktop every 30 minutes.
I've got the stuttering issue (IF it's an issue - it's hard to tell if the game is stuttering on everyone's computer or not... we're starting to wonder if some people just don't care about the stuttering, and consequently say that their game is running 'smoothly'.)
I'd have to disagree with you about the problem not being with your system though. My game is running beautifully (apart from the stuttering, which doesn't happen at all when I'm zoomed in on my sims). I'm not trying to be nasty or anything. I'm just trying to say that the game CAN run well. In other words, if you're thinking, this game is just a buggy mess - well, it's not. You should be able to get it to work properly.
Try doing all the usual stuff first, of course - update drivers, close all applications, re-install the game.
If you've been using your computer to surf the net for porn, then stop doing that - wipe the hard drive clean, do a complete re-install of windows, and stop surfing the net for porn... on that computer. Just buy a cheap computer for porn, and leave your gaming computer alone.
