Is L4D for me?

I am currently playing TF2 and theres only handful of servers i can actually play in.There are 4-5 servers with ping between 70-100(least ping for me) but these servers r always full and hard to get in.On the other hand there r 12-15 servers with ping between 100-200.I can get in those servers but there is ocassional lag here and there.Also i get kicked out from some of servers for having a ping greater than 150.So i was planning to buy L4D should i get it will i be able to play smoothly.I know L4D2 is comming soon but i dont care for that.Is L4D for me?

Umm well if this of any indication, there appears to be a local L4D India scene. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/left4deadindia But yes, if there are local servers in India then you can experience smoothness in multiplayer. I think you can still get low ping in the neighboring countries as well anyway. Just make sure in game that you open the console and type in openserverbrowser to get a list of servers which indicates players and ping that you can manually join in. The matchmaking system in L4D is awful.
i wouldnt buy L4D now with the new L4D 2 announced to release this november. I regret buying L4D now. It wasnt all that great and we'll all be forced to pay for a second rehash this november , gah!

Only another 50 dollars, damn Valve. Just go buy a much better game, Killing Floor. I'm serious, I love the handle of the weapons, they feel realistic, but not too realistic where it's to hard too play. Also there is no crosshair, to make it even more fun. Oh and there's awesome rock music.
Killing Floor has more variety in killing zombies, and different type of zombies and is only $20 tops
