forgot to add if i do get the 250 gts im gonna add SLI. Meaning im gonna run 2x 250gts
SLI isnt worth the hassle get 285gtx its about same as 2x250gts.

If you can get the same or more power on one chip, do that.
Go for the single GTX 285. Some games will not play nice with SLI so a powerful single card solution should be used IMO.
the 285 the 250gtx is just the 9800gtx and teh ecs 1gb might use ddr3 instead of gddr3

It's highly recommended to get a GT 285, it's a nice powerful card, while, SLI is pretty good, but a LOT of games are incompatible with SLI. and i'm pretty sure a GTX 285 can outdo 2 250's in sli.
On my I7 920 (Oc'ed to 3.0-3.2 GHz), GTX285:Go with it.
GeForce 285, hands down.
GTX285 is one hell of a Beast. I was playing on a a system with a Dual Set Up of those Cards, crysis look amazing. Truly worth it
