Gaming Headsets

I'm looking for a headset w/mic combo. Which is a great one?I'd like to spend around 100 bucks as long as I'm getting a quality product.I was at e3 and the new fatal1ty mkII headsets looked pretty cool.http://www.fatal1ty.com/products/headsets/737.phpI didnt get a chance to put them on, but they looked cool... Any thoughts? Thanks all!Gaming Headsets
I would personally get a mic separate from headphones, so you can use the headphones for more than just gaming. Ie listening to music at your computer while not gaming, without having a mic hanging off to the side.Gaming Headsets
i use the fatal1ty gen 1 that has the removable mic boom. they're nice but im no audiophile so i really cant distinguish between sound qualities all that well.
well I never listen to music on my computer with headphones ever... I would only use them for gaming purposes. And the mkII that I showed you, has a removeable mic so that seems like a good thing.Anyone have any horror stories with fatal1ty products? I'm not an audio expert either, i just want something comfy, with good sound, and a mic :P
I'm using the Sennheiser PC161 headset. I think it's fantastic.

I use the Tritton AX51 headset: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826235007%26Tpk=ax51

In addition to excellent, analog (three separate 3.5mm jacks plus a mic jack), surround sound, it also comes with two separate sets of pads, leather or cloth, and has a removable mic. They also feel sturdier than some headsets I have used in the past, including the edimensional 5+1 pro headset and an older Fatal1ty headset from Creative.
In my experience you can't go wrong with either Plantronics or Sennheiser.

Some models have mic booms that swing and align flush with the headband so it's out of the way when you're just listening.

Most decent models also have in-line volume control and mic mute.
Razor Barracuda 5.1 surround headset. also has a detachable mic so if you don't need to use it you can just unplug it from the headset.
