Noobish Machinima Question

Is there a way to get to a third person view? Like a camera or something in different games? Right now I was sort of toying with the thought of making a machinima. But it would just be me. So there would be no one else to ''record'' it. Like for example if I say wanted to go into the singleplayer of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and make a machinima by myself. Would there be any way of doing that? Somehow getting it into different camera angles where I can see my body with no hud. Or at least close to it. Sorry if I am wording this weirdly.Noobish Machinima Question
You would have to search for different console commands for the different games. Some games might not even have a third person view and if they do, it will just be a behind the back view.
