How can I see health level in Gta 4 ?

Hey,I am playing Gta 4 on pc. But I dont see my character's health level. How can I see?How can I see health level in Gta 4 ?
It's the red outer half-ring around the mini-map (left-hand side). If you're wearing armor, it's the blue outer half-ring around the right side of the mini-map.How can I see health level in Gta 4 ?

Health is green, only when you're seriously injured and you've only hit yourself twice or three times before you ended like that, you can have as much as half of your health with red (but red is usually when you're really low on health), and yeah armor is blue.
how did you NOT understand that ?

I am confused.
Down, left corner, the gps, its outer rim is the health and armor indicator. As you can see the green represents your health, and it's pretty low in that screenshot (1/3 of your full health - full health represents half of that circle, the other half is armor, and it is shown with blue, but I don't have any armor in this screenshot, I rarely have anyway).
instruction manual is always a very fascinating thing to read before you start playing =]

I agree most ppl think those book thingies in their games r for holding cd keys or somthin.
