Saw this deal on Steam, theyre almost giving it away at about 10 bucks. Is it worth it?How much stealth is their? Or is it more Hitman-style stalking and camoflauge than actual stealth (a la Thief or Splinter Cell)?Assassin's Creed worth 9.99?
Yes, most definitely.Assassin's Creed worth 9.99?

Well is boring. You will have fun the first 3-4hours but after that becomes repetitive and boring but for $10 i say its worth it since by no means is a bad game
yes, I bought it and like it so far. Common problem though is freezing in-game for 4 seconds when you perform killing moves. very annoying.
It's worth it. I just got it and am enjoying every minute of it.
I was thinking of getting it, then I got Mario Kart for the Wii.
Assasin's creed is an action game, not a stealth game. But for 10 bucks, it has great visuals, and is really atmospheric. If your pc can max it out, get it, but the gameplay isn't really that fun over time...
is there anything unique about the pc version? i have it on 360 already and i sorta liked it (well, not really, it got really old really fast), but i'm just wondering if there is anything special about the pc version.
From Steam:
''Four PC-exclusive investigation missions make the game an even better experience than its console predecessors, including the Rooftop Race Challenge, a race to a specified location and the Archer Stealth Assassination Challenge, where the player must assassinate all archers in a certain zone to help out fellow Assassins''

I wouldnt EVEN pirate it :/, i played it at a friends house and it truly is immersive BUT the repetitiveness of it all just kills it. Thats just my opinion tho.
Its definitely worth buying ASSASINS CREED for 10 bucks.
Since it's this cheap, I think it worths buying.
Personally I think it is worth it. I picked it up from Steam the other day. I plugged in my Xbox controller to my PC to use with the game though, this game is more fun with a controller in my opinion. (I had beaten it on xbox before when I rented the game)

Yes it is. Matter of fact, why am I hear? I should be buying it now!
I played it on the 360, so I don't exactly no how they compare. I will say that 2 years ago I thought the game was extremely fun for the first couple of hours. It quickly became repetitive, but was an experience like no other game I had played before. The game is around 15hrs unless you look for all the flags, so you are getting more hours than dollars paid in. It definitely beats the $60 I paid for it. Buy it.

It'll keep you for a while, but the repetition, and the fact the cities really don't feel alive all that much kinda kills longevity if you enjoy roaming around the cities causing trouble after you beat the same, like GTA or what have you.

The new missions in the PC version aren't very good at all.
