Whoa - thanks for the link, guy. That was fantastic.I keep on thinking that Bioware has only two games in the pipeline - Mass Effect 2, and Dragon Age, but of course they've got The Old Republic in development as well. 3 games upcoming from Bioware, and all of them on the PC! WOOT!I don't know about you, but I'm a huge Bioware enthusiast. This might end up being the first MMO in which the developer will be given my credit card number - hasn't happened yet.EDIT: And holy cow, for an MMO are those graphics ever beautiful - really, really clean looking.IGN scoop on The Old Republic
I vowed after quitting WoW that I would never play another MMO ever again. Then Bioware had to go and make a KOTOR MMO.It looks like TOR is going to be an MMO the likes of Guild Wars though and not so much like a more traditional MMO like WoW, EQ2, or FFXI. Hopefully that will turn out to be the case because at this point in my life I no longer have the massive amounts of time to pour into a game like I did back when I played WoW.
Has Bioware even hinted at a release date - I'm guessing not until Fall of 2010?
Cant wait for this!
holy crap.. I am very excited now. More excited than I was before.

I think BioWare is trying to make the first TRULY RPG MMO..... hard call, but if anyone can do it...it's BioWare....
hahaha

if only I could change my gamespot name to GhostMercenary...which is the name I use everywhere else (THE original; copyrighted =P)

just have this DQ25 name cuz I made the account when I was 12

I spend my time everyday on these forums...just don't post allot unless I really have something to say =P

As for release date...at the E3 interview they said they wont mention anything about release dates until they see they can make it...so when it's ready...

They don't just want to go and throw a release date out and just have a deadline so when the date comes they just have to throw the game out to the public as it is...

and also they stated they don't like making ANY statements or promeses regarding classes, fighting, quests etc unless they are absolutely sure they can deliver on that promise...so they wait until they KNOW it will work to release that info to the public...so no release date yet, like their style of thinking though

I can't wait for this....might be the 1st MMO I'd play that requires monthly fee

Still gotta finish my playthrough the Sith Lords though =D

Indeed, the last 30 minutes or so of the game are going to go like this::D:o:o :o :o :o:shock::|:cry:
Sounds great if bioware delivers. But it seems like they haven't quite figured it out yet, which means in 2 years' time the best features might end up like the ones in many other promising titles... on the cutting room floor. OK, truth be told I really have no hope that MMOs will ever become anything more than a hacknslash grind.
